Psychotherapy

For Individuals & Couples

Black Lives Matter. The lives of George Floyd and the many others before and after him mattered. Even in the wake of George Floyd’s murder, to followed by weeks protests around the world, there have been killings by police of black men. As a white psychotherapist, I am outraged by this systemic racism and the feeling of being overwhelmed that follows for many of us. As white people, one of the most important things we can do is to educate ourselves and talk to each other about what we are learning. I have listed some resources below that I found helpful.

The Collaborative Process

The collaborative process in therapy allows the client and the therapist to engage in collaborative conversations and explore together. Most people come to a therapist, who has the experience to understand them and provide clarity, as a logical way to continue with life.

I can help you to reflect on your experiences in life and provide a safe environment to explore your inner space.
